it never ends, does it?

So we finally got all of the boxes unpacked. There's still some organizing and a LOT of decorating to be done, but we're unpacked. And guess what? It's time to start packing again. A week from today we're flying to Philadelphia for my BIL's wedding. I am really, really looking forward to the trip. I am really, really NOT looking forward to the flight or the jetlag.

2 hours on the bus from the base to the airport. (Roll call 1 hour prior, with a chance of a mad dash to the train station - the bus is Space Available if you're not traveling on orders. Which we're not. So there's a chance we could be left high and dry and have to take the train...) 3 hours at the airport. 11 hours, 40 minutes on the plane from Tokyo to Chicago. 3 hours at the airport, again. 2 hours, 10 minutes on the plane from Chicago to Philadelphia.

We only get a week and a half before we get to do the whole thing again in reverse. (Except that Chicago to Tokyo takes a full hour longer than Tokyo to Chicago. Why? I don't know.) At least on the way there we start at dinnertime and the kids will probably sleep for a few hours. (No whammies, no whammies...) The return trip? 10am, baby!! Woot.

Pray for me. Holy Jesus, pray for me.
